when ur far away, in the cracks of almost days,
in the same sad blink of a smile,
we’re invited to see, the reaction to things,
like the casual burn of an eye,
to my surprise, we’re not lost,
we’re just storming thru the haze,
a colourful space,
on a trip beneath, ur acrobatic seat,
when ur sailing thru layers of rain,
hit the switch we’re goin down,
on a mission to indulge in a trip down memory lane,
it's all the same sorts of wonders minus other forms of feeling sane,

stooped against the open sign, holding up the ceiling,
filtered thru my pocket seas, to find my keys,
and spill into the evening time while sighing,
breathing heavily, lighting up the homestead,
stacked up portraits of the day, dissolve away,
forced out of mind, in the meantime,
and still i go on…
this is sure to leave a mark, took until the morning to see,
in possession of the life restraining me,
but u could quit at any time, keep that in mind,
hoofed it all the way, 40 minutes early,
now to replicate the same mistakes,

i’m not above the torments of life,
but with you i feel just like celebrating,

turning speech to the sounds,

or if we were above uncertainty,
do i lie awake here nearer than i thought,

shouldn’t history remind us how to treat ourselves tonight,
against the end of time?
shouldn’t misery make way for modern freedoms to inspire our climb,
dont tell me you cant even see outside,
i'm aliver than ever,
if there’s nothing left to care for then there's nothing left to say,
the things you do dissolve me i am freer than a kite,
i could write this song forever knowing history refines,
but i can't do this every night, am i running myself dry,
at least i'm still willing to try,
should our mortal prayers press on beyond our hunger for tomorrow?
i thought that we were closer,
would another share, the meal it takes to feed us as a whole,

if there's nothing left to care for then there's nothing left to say,
